Minister of Music
Caroline Nelson Cooper-Barnard (AKA CC Barnard) was born and raised in Paynesville, Montserrado County, Liberia, West Africa, to Mr. Maesah Daniel Nelson and Juliet Leigh Nelson-Payne.
With little formal musical training, CC has been a divinely gifted composer and singer since her early teens and served as Organist/Pianist for her home church, Effort Baptist Church of Paynesville, Liberia, Protestant Church of Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Whosoever Will Christian Church, USA, to name of few.
CC Barnard has produced and recorded more than 40 Christian, Folk, and Inspirational songs which can be found on various digital outlets. Her songbooks “Great Anthems and Folk Songs from Liberia” and “A Pon Zuo” (Christian Songs From Liberia) will be released on Amazon in August of 2023.
CC Barnard was consecrated Music Evangelist and Licensed as a Gospel Minister in 2005 and 2021 respectively in the USA and Liberia.
CC is also the founder and CEO of New Liberia Hope Foundation, Inc., (www.libhope.org) for the purpose of helping those in need.
CC Barnard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Cuttington College, in Liberia, and a Master’s Degree in Taxation from Strayer University in the United States of America.
